Plarn Crochet

Oh plastic films how you never go away, how we are drowning in plastics. I learned to crochet so I could use plastic bags. There was such an abundance of bags, and I wanted to find ways to create functional items out of them.

This is a collection of work starting from around 20157. I’ve been playing with plarn (plastic yarn) for a while now. If all plastic bag production were halted today I’d still have more material at my disposal than I could get through in my lifetime. Do you crochet? Want to learn how to make plarn?
